Candler Park Music Festival canceled after 11 years in Atlanta

Great music, good food and wonderful weather greeted music lovers at the Candler Park Music and Food Festival.

ATLANTA — After 11 years, Candler Park Music Festival is no more.

The festival, which has typically taken place in June, announced the news on social media Monday.

“Candler Park Music Festival is ending on a high note after 11 unbelievable years. We have loved every minute of producing the festival for you and cherish the community of fans, artists, vendors, sponsors and event staff who nurtured our little neighborhood festival into a signature Atlanta event,” the festival announced.

The festival called it a ‘necessary change,’ but did hint at something taking place in the park in the future.

“Stay tuned—we’ll all be together in Candler Park again soon.”

Last year, the festival took place on June 3 and 4 and featured musical acts such as The Disco Biscuits, Grace Potter, Yonder Mountain String Band, and Trouble No More.
