ATLANTA — Atlanta police have arrested a woman in the shooting death of an 18-year-old woman in Buckhead.

Police said they were called out to the Ashley Gables Buckhead apartments just after 7:30 p.m. Tuesday to investigate a call of a woman shot. The apartments are located at 530 East Paces Ferry Road.

When officers arrived, they found an 18-year-old woman with a gunshot wound. Rescue workers transported her to Grady Memorial Hospital where she later died.

Detectives said several people were taken to police headquarters to be questioned.

After interviewing them, officers charged 18-year-old Hilena Misganaw on the charge of involuntary manslaughter. She was taken to the Fulton County Jail.
