ATLANTA — There is a $10,000 reward being offered by Crime Stoppers of Greater Atlanta for information to help locate people suspected for starting a fire that burned the Wendy’s restaurant in southwest Atlanta late Saturday night.
Atlanta police released photos Sunday afternoon of who they want to find.
The restaurant at 125 University Avenue caught fire amid protests in the area. Demonstrations sparked in the wake of the shooting death of Rayshard Brooks, following a Friday night incident with Atlanta police.
Atlanta police is asking for the public’s help to find the individual in the photos, and anyone else who may be responsible for the Wendy’s restaurant fire.
The public can give an anonymous tip and be eligible for reward money by calling 404-577-TIPS (8477). Tips can also be given online at https://atlantapolicefoundation.org/programs/crime-stoppers/
