ATLANTA — Atlanta police are investigating after a man was shot and killed outside a hookah lounge in downtown Atlanta early Tuesday morning.
The shooting happened at 255 Trinity Ave. outside the Monaco hookah lounge around 6 a.m.
Police confirmed that one person was killed.
Channel 2′s Kristen Holloway talked with a woman at the scene, who said that the victim was the 24-year-old father of her 1-year-old daughter.
It’s unclear whether the shooting happened inside the lounge, another nearby club or in the parking lot outside the venues.
People outside the lounge cried and hugged.
Police are also investigating a deadly shooting that happened on the 2500 block of Jonesboro Road around 5:30 Tuesday morning.
