ATLANTA — A woman who died after falling from an abandoned, five-story building owned by Emory University early Friday morning has been identified by officials.
DeKalb County police and Emory University police responded to 1256 Briarcliff Rd. Building A around 1:30 a.m. on Friday.
Officials say 19-year-old Leah Palmirotto died in the fall.
Officials say the building is known as “Hawkins Lab” from the hit Netflix show “Stranger Things.”
The investigation is ongoing.
