WOODSTOCK, GA — Woodstock police report that a young man is dead after a shooting at the Riverstock Apartments on Arnold Mill Road.

He has been identified as 18-year-old Matthew Milner.

Police say firefighters treated him at the scene, but Milner later died from his injuries at WellStar Kennestone Hospital.

So far, there’s no information on suspects.

The GBI and Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office are assisting with the investigation.
