ATLANTA — Police are investigating a shooting at a gas station in southwest Atlanta.

Atlanta police said officers received reports of a person shot at an Exxon gas station on Metropolitan Parkway SW around 1:55 a.m.

According to the investigation, two men were shot during a dispute at the gas station.

After the shooting, one of the injured men somehow traveled to a residence on Hope Street SW where police found him.

Officers confirmed the other man was found dead inside the gas station.

Authorities have not said what led to the shooting, although all parties involved know each other.

The identities of the victims have not been released.

Police have not identified the shooter.
