Forsyth County deputies are investigating a shooting that left one person dead and another critically injured Wednesday.

The shooting happened at Ernie Morris Enterprises Inc., which sells office furniture and supplies, off Ivy Street around 8 a.m.

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office told Channel 2′s Steve Gehlbach that both people shot were temporary workers.

Deputies believe the two employees got into an argument, went and got their guns, then shot at each other. It’s unclear what sparked the argument.

The names of the two employees have not been released.
