Scam artist are preying on your "fear of the law"  in Fulton county. The phone rings and someone on the other end tells you that you missed jury duty and there has been a warrant issued for your arrest.

Donna Moore of Roswell got a call from someone who claimed to a "Lieutenant Taylor" with the Fulton County Sheriff's Department. He told Moore that a warrant has been issued for her arrest as the result of her failing to appear for jury duty in Judge Russell's courtroom. "I said that is not possible,  I did not...not address a jury summons," says Moore.

The caller told her that they could clear it all up if she just paid a fine of $900.00. Moore says, "at that point I felt that I was a target for a scam."
