The search continues for home invasion suspects in Peachtree City that fired a shot at a woman, grazing her in the head.
Police say two suspects barged into the unlocked house on Woodland Drive with a shotgun, demanding money.
CeCe Coffee tells Channel 2 Action News she was forced to the ground and roughed up during Friday night’s incident. But she said she would not give in to them.
"I was not going to be executed in my own home," says Coffee.
A male neighbor walked in on the confrontation and was forced the ground, as well.
While the suspects were dealing with the man, Coffee was able to make a run for it, getting out of the house. But one of the suspects chased her and fired a shot, grazing her in the head. She was not seriously hurt.
Coffee was able to get away, and called police at a neighbor’s house. She says she thinks the men may have targeted her because she owns a business in the area, and they might have thought she had a safe in her house.
The male neighbor was not seriously hurt.
Coffee says her attackers are men in their 20s and wearing all black, with black bandannas covering their faces. She said they left in a dark-colored pickup truck.
She also has a warning for those men.
"I think they should be concerned if they come back," said Coffee. "I have my gun on my lap."
