It’s probably going to be a pretty good week to be a Georgia Lottery ticket vendor.

Both the Mega Millions and Powerball jackpots are reaching rare air. The two jackpots combined are worth $550 million.

No one matched all six numbers (6-10-12-28-32, Mega Ball 38) in Tuesday night’s $170 million Mega Millions jackpot. So the top prize is going up to $190 million for Friday night.

However, two Georgians got every number right except for the final Mega Ball, the lottery says. Those two players will take home $250,000 each. Not bad.

But the Mega Millions jackpot is about half of what tonight’s Powerball drawing is going for. It’s now up to $360 million after getting a $10 million bump on Tuesday. It’s the third largest jackpot in the game’s history.

This is the largest payout for the two games at the same time since the Georgia Lottery started selling both games at the same time in 2010.

The Powerball jackpot has rolled over 12 times since someone in Illinois grabbed $50 million on March 30. The week before a New Jersey man bagged $338 million.

The last winning Mega Millions winner was in Ohio on March 12, with a $41 million prize.

Both drawings will air live on WSB-TV at 11 p.m., just before Channel 2 Action News.
