ATLANTA — Two men were sentenced to federal prison for distributing tens of thousands of fentanyl-laced pills disguised as prescription medication in Atlanta.

Jorge Cano and Walter Aguilar pleaded guilty to drug-trafficking-related offenses. Authorities say the pills, often concealed in stuffed animals, were mailed from Arizona.

Aguilar, who was living in the U.S. illegally, was sentenced to five years in prison and will face deportation, officials said.

Cano received a ten-year prison sentence.
