ATLANTA — Atlanta police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened on Jonesboro Road in the southeast part of the city.

Officers say they found a 26-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, but later died from his injuries.

Police have not released any information about a suspect or possible charges at this time.

The investigation remains ongoing.
