ATLANTA — Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed in southeast Atlanta on Thursday evening.

Officers responded to a report of a person shot on Cleveland Avenue around 7:20 p.m. Upon arrival, officers located a man with a gunshot wound.

The victim dead on the scene. The identity of the victim was not released.

The investigation is ongoing.
