LILBURN, GA — Gwinnett County police say a suspect is facing charges following a fatal shooting at an extended-stay motel in Lilburn.

Police say the shooting happened at the Live In Lodge extended stay hotel along Stone Mountain Highway.

Investigators say the victim has been identified as a 17-year-old.

Police remain on scene as they work to determine what led up to the shooting.
