ATLANTA — An Atlanta man faces charges in Massachusetts after being accused of forging documents to steal more than a million dollars.
Prosecutors say 44-year-old Shaka Stayman forged documents to steal from the state’s unclaimed property division.
Stayman submitted four claims that total more than $2.2 million before investigators stepped in to stop the payments, officials say.
He was arrested in metro Atlanta and pleaded not guilty to all charges against him.
