ATLANTA — One person was killed in southwest Atlanta early Monday morning, police say.

Officers responded to the 3700 block of Hogan Road around 1:46 a.m. after reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found an unresponsive male victim laying on the sidewalk with gunshot wounds.

He was pronounced dead on the scene. The identity of the victim was not released.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
