ATLANTA, Ga. — Police are investigating after a shooting left one person hospitalized on Wednesday.

Officers responded to the area of Drew Drive and Abbott Lane around 5 p.m. after a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers found a male victim with an apparent gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was rushed to the hospital.

The identity of the victim and current extent of his injury is unknown.

The investigation is ongoing.
