The Georgia Bureau of Investigation charged 42 year old William Guy Hella, of Lakewood Road, with possession of child pornography after he was found with images of child porn on his computer.

The arrest was made at Hella’s residence as a result of a search warrant. The Liberty County Sherriff’s Office collected evidence from an IP address registered to Hella, which prompted the authorities to obtain the warrant. He was charged with five counts of Sexual Exploitation of Children.

The investigation is part of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, or the ICAC. Along with the GBI’s Child Exploitation and Computer Crimes Unit, ICAC tries to identify children involved in the porn trade.  There have been 973 arrests made by the ICAC Task Force since it was established in 2002.

Hella is currently being held in the Forsyth County jail where he is awaiting bond.
