After their arrest, and confession, suspects Benjamin Lawrence, 18, and Tyler Wise, 19, both of Villa Rica told investigators they damaged Villa Rica High School because they were "bored and wanted some laughs".

Lawrence and Wise, both former students are charged with burglary, criminal damage to property and interference with government property.

Villa Rica police Capt. Keith Shaddix said the damage is still being calculated. "It's going to be over $ 10,000, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was closer to $ 20,000," Shaddix said.

Windows were broken, graffiti sprayed on the building and windows, there's damage to the field house and concession stands and there's even damage to the school's band trailer and vending machines.
