How to get rid of fleas…

Q – We have fleas in our home. We don't want fleas in our home. What should we do?

A – You are making me itchy just talking about fleas…

Here are a couple things you can do.

Use what you would call a ‘flea bomb’. (professionals call it ‘fogging’). Look for something where the active ingredient is Pyrethrin. This works, but will only kill the adults.

The second product that needs to be applied is an I.G.R.

I mention I.G.R.’s quite a bit on the show. It stands for Insect Growth Regulator.

I.G.R.’s won’t necessarily kill the fleas right off, but the I.G.R. will prevent the fleas from laying fertile eggs and that will stop the life cycle.

Alpine Flea and Tick is what the pro’s use.
