Holmes, Riley lead Braves to another series win with rout of Red Sox

ATLANTA -- — Grant Holmes allowed five hits in six scoreless innings and Austin Riley hit a 3-run homer in the first inning as the Braves beat the Red Sox 8-1 Sunday in Atlanta.

The Braves are now 13-1-1 in their first 15 series this season.

The Braves’ 32-15 record is the best in the major leagues, a game better than the Rays.
