Angels cool off Braves with 9-1 rout

The Angels scored five runs in the first inning as they cruised to an easy 9-1 win over the Braves Sunday in Atlanta.

Braves’ starter Ian Anderson allowed seven runs in three innings as Atlanta now trails the Mets by a game and a half in the NL East.

The Braves get back in action Monday night on the road against the Phillies.
