UNITED KINGDOM — So which is better, a few short walks or one long one ?
A new study in the UK found that it’s best to take one long walk daily, rather than taking multiple short walks throughout the day.
People who walked 15 minutes or longer daily had a lower risk of death and a lower risk of cardiovascular disease than people who took shorter walks, even if the overall number of steps they took was the same.
Doctors say any walk is better than no walk.
