But don’t expect Bruce Springsteen to belt out a hit or two during the opening or closing ceremonies.

Instead, it’s his daughter Jessica Springsteen who will be at the games, ESPN reported.

She said she’s been on horseback for most of her life.

“I started riding when I was really little. My mom had always wanted to ride so when we moved to New Jersey she started taking lessons,” Jessica Springsteen told People magazine in the past. “Our home is right across the road from one of the top junior training barns and I went right into that when I was a teenager.”

Her mother is Patti Scialfa, CNN reported.

She’s a member of the USA Equestrian show jumping team.

Jessica Springsteen was named to the four-member team. She’ll be joining McLain Ward, Kent Farrington and Laura Kraut.

She’ll be riding her 12-year-old stallion Don Juan van de Donkhoeve and is ranked 27th in the world, CNN reported.

The team won gold at the 2004 and 2008 games and silver in 2016.

Jessica Springsteen was an alternate for the 2012 games held in London and did not make the team for the 2016 games in Rio, ESPN reported.

But this is the first time’s she’s going to the Olympics, People reported.

She had been part of the FEI Nations Cup teams that won in Palm Beach, Florida, and Wellington, Florida last year, People reported.

The Olympics kick off July 23 after being postponed last year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
