ATLANTA — The Publix grocery store in Atlantic Station will soon be closing its doors after 20 years in business.

The supermarket has been a tenant since the opening of the mixed-use development in 2005.

Store employees were told that the last day of business will be December 27.

The company will continue to operate three other locations nearby.

Atlantic Station officials say they are making plans to re-imagine the space for new uses.
