ATLANTA — Atlanta police are investigating after a person was shot along Peachtree Street near 7th Street in Midtown.

Witnesses say the shooting appeared to stem from an argument.

Police say the 27-year-old victim was conscious and alert when taken to the hospital.

The shooting also left nearby businesses with bullet holes in their front windows.

Police have not announced any arrests or identified any possible suspects.
