Oh baby! Zoo Atlanta’s gorilla couple shows off growing baby in new ultrasound

ATLANTA — It’s not something you see every day, an ultrasound of a baby gorilla.

Zoo Atlanta shared the news on Facebook on Valentine’s Day.

The baby gorilla is due in May or mid-June. Shalia and Willie B. Jr., are the parents-to-be.

The zoo announced the pregnancy back in November 2022.

Zoo Atlanta says “our hearts are being extra strong for the little heartbeat.

The name of the baby gorilla has not been revealed.
