GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — Gwinnett County Public Schools releases the 2026 to 2027 school year calendar, as well as the 2027 to 2028 calendar.

Both include seven days of preplanning for teachers.

There will be digital learning days, and additional days off in February along with the regular breaks in the fall, thanksgiving, winter, and spring.

The 2026-2027 school year will start on August 5th and end on May 26th.

The 2027-2028 school year starts on August 4th and runs through May 24th.
