HENRY COUNTY, GA — A Henry County man is recovering after he was bitten by a shark while visiting Florida over the weekend.

Officials say the incident happened on Saturday in Daytona Beach Shores.

Officials say 22-year-old Jacorey High was standing in waist-deep water when he was bitten by a roughly 4-foot shark on his foot and ankle.

High is expected to be OK, according to officials.

Officials have not released what type of shark was involved.
