LILBURN, Ga. — Gwinnett County police are investigating a homicide that happened in Lilburn on Monday morning.
Police said a man was killed off of Stone Mountain Highway. The address police responded to is a used car dealership.
According to Channel 2, the shooting happened at a car repair business behind the dealership. Police said they were investigating a potential a self-defense shooting involving the business owner and the victim. The business owner has not been charged.
It’s unclear if the person who was killed was found inside or outside the business.
Police have not identified the victim.
This is the third fatal shooting in Gwinnett County in just a matter of days. On Saturday night, two men were found shot on Britain Drive. One was dead at the scene and another was taken to the hospital in critical condition. A 29-year-old woman was found shot to death in front of a home on Sunday morning. A man has since been arrested in her death.
