DEKALB COUNTY, GA — DeKalb County unveiled its new real-time crime center on Friday.
Dekalb County Public Safety Director Darnell Fullum says it includes the use of drones, cameras, license plate readers, mobile centers, and even gunshot detection.
DeKalb County CEO Lorraine Cochran-Johnson said it makes the entire metro Atlanta area safer.
“When crimes are committed and an individual passes from one jurisdiction to another, DeKalb County is now prepared to pick up the ball,” she said.
