DECATUR, GA — The city of Decatur wants to hear from residents tonight about how the mayor is chosen in the future.

The city’s charter review commission is currently looking at whether the mayor should continue to be selected annually by the city commission or be elected directly by voters.

A virtual community discussion is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday.
