ATLANTA — One person was killed and another was injured in a shooting in northwest Atlanta on Sunday evening.

Officers responded to a shooting at the 1900 block of Jones Avenue just before 10 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers found victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were rushed to the hospital where one of them died, police say.

The identity of the victims was not released by police.

The investigation is ongoing.
