CALHOUN, GA — A Cartersville man has been arrested and charged with arson in northwest Georgia.

Jorge Gonzalez is accused of setting fire to a second-floor bedroom at an apartment complex off Greenbriar Circle in Calhoun.

State investigators say the victim also reported a large amount of cash missing from a closet.

The Bartow County Sheriff’s Office assisted with Gonzalez’s arrest.

Gonzalez now faces charges including arson and burglary.
