COBB COUNTY, GA — Cobb County police make an arrest in a deadly new year’s day stabbing.

Police say 50-year-old Zuberi Douglas of Marietta is being held on charges including felony murder after the killing at the Millwood apartment complex on Pat Mell Road.

Police say 47-year-old Jerry Sampson Jr. was stabbed to death. The investigation is still active.

No word yet on a motive in the case.
