There will be lots of paving operations this weekend on GA-400 between Sandy Springs in Buckhead. Most of it will take place overnight but will still cause delays. Hwy 9/Roswell Rd is a good alternate to avoid these work zones.

Roadwork continues on the westside perimeter so there will be volume on I-285 between I-75 and I-20. Use your surface streets or Downtown (I-75/85) to get around the backups.

Don’t be surprised to see other lane closures pop up around Metro Atlanta, weather permitting.

ROAD CONSTRUCTION ZONES

• Sandy Springs: Alternating left and right lane closures on GA-400/northbound from 9pm-5am all weekend. At times 2 right or left lanes will be closed between I-85 and I-285 for resurfacing.
• Sandy Springs: Left & right lane closures on GA-400/northbound from I-285 up past Abernathy Rd (Exit 5) during overnight hours.
• Sandy Springs: One right lane blocked & at times traffic paced I-285/eastbound (Inner Loop) between Roswell Rd (Exit 25) and GA-400 (Exit 27) between 9pm-5am.
• Fulton/Cobb Co: 2 right lanes of I-285/northbound (Inner Loop) closed between Bolton Rd (Exit 13) and Atlanta Rd (Exit 16) during overnight hours all weekend.
• Fulton Co: The ramp from Hwy 166/Langford Pkwy/wb to I-285/southbound (Outer Loop) will be closed throughout the weekend.
• Fulton Co: One left lane of Hwy 166/Langford Pkwy will be closed in each direction at I-285 from 9pm Friday to 5am Monday.
• Clayton Co: Traffic Pacing on I-75/northbound/southbound between I-285 (Exit 238) and Forest Pkwy (Exit 237) through next Saturday October 3rd. At times all lanes may be paced overnight.
