ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. — It wasn’t the driver, but the pedestrians, who were served with citations after an accident outside a Florida high school.
Two 14-year-old girls were hit by a car on Friday morning outside of Lake Brantley High School, just before classes began, WFTV reported.
The girls were not using a crosswalk, and the driver who hit them had a green light at the time, Altamonte Springs police told WFTV.
The girls were taken to the hospital. Police told WFTV that one student had abrasions on her ankle, while the other had no visible injuries.
Both teenagers were issued citations.
