MOSS BLUFF, La. — An 11-year-old boy is facing a second-degree murder charge after police said he shot and killed an adult relative in Louisiana.
According to KTBS and KPLC, the incident occurred Monday afternoon at a Moss Bluff home. Calcasieu Parish deputies arrived at the residence about 5 p.m. to find 39-year-old Andrew Lafleur III dead, the Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post Tuesday.
“During further investigation, it was learned an 11-year-old family member was responsible for the shooting,” the post read.

Deputies arrested the child, who was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center. No further information was immediately available.
