Those working the night shift or non-traditional hours are at a greater risk of getting kidney stones, according to new research published in the journal Mayo Clinic Proceedings.
Researchers say anyone working a shift outside a 9 to 5 job has a 15% increased risk of getting kidney stones.
The number jumps to 22% for people working the night shift.
The study involved data from more than 220,000 people in the UK.
