Criminal misdemeanor charges face a former southwest Florida high school principal accused of hypnotizing students.
George Kenney allegedly hypnotized two North Port High School students before each committed suicide last year. Kenney had been warned by his boss to stop hypnotizing students. He will resign at the end of this school year.
Prosecutors opted to charge him with a misdemeanor, rather than felony charge of unlicensed health care.
