Woodstock dentist charged with berating an Uber driver

A Woodstock dentist has been arrested after he went off on an Uber driver.

Nathan Harrison says he responded to a call to pick up a couple and 43-year-old Damon Bond from the Chambers Street in downtown Woodstock on Saturday. Harrison says it soon became apparent that Bond was highly intoxicated.

Things quickly went down hill once he dropped the couple off and attempted to drop Bond off at his house. That's when Bond demanded that Harrison hand over his windshield-mounted camera.

"I'm gonna rip this off your f****** car."

Harrison, who was taken aback, asked Bond if he wanted him to delete the video.

'"Well, that's up to you, bro. You're in my home right now and all of a sudden you're on my private property. And I'm about to f****** kick your a**. You can hand that thing over to me or we're about to have a big f****** problem,"' said Bond.

Bond eventually went into his home and that's when Harrison filed a police report.

He also posted part of the video on his Facebook page.

"Scary Uber rider last night. Get this. He's a dentist on Main Street in Woodstock. After I cut the video, he said he was going in his house to get his Glock and make me give it up," Harrison wrote on the post. "If this is your dentist, please let him know you saw him."

Bond, who is named in a previous report for "threatening the use of a firearm against a taxi driver" has been charged with simple assault.

Harrison is now considering whether or not to continue driving for Uber.
