Warming centers in Atlanta to open as cold weather moves back into the city

ATLANTA — As cold weather moves back into the area, the city of Atlanta will open warming centers Tuesday night.

One is located at Central Park Recreation Center on Merritts Avenue.

A second one will open at Old Adamsville Recreation Center on Delmar Lane.

They will be open from 8 p.m. until 9 a.m.

Transportation will be provided from the Gateway Center with return transportation provided by Fulton County.
