ATLANTA — Two Georgia schools have ranked among the top 100 in the world, according to a U.S. News study.

Emory University was ranked No. 64 on the Best Global Universities list.

Emory is also in a three-way tie with Ohio State University in Columbus and the University of Zurich in Switzerland.

Georgia Tech was ranked No. 94.

The schools are ranked based on 13 indicators measuring academic research performance.

The rankings also factor in global and regional reputation, according to officials.
