Three tornadoes confirmed to have touched down in Carroll, Coweta counties during Tuesday’s storms

ATLANTA, GA — The National Weather Service confirms three tornadoes touched down during Tuesday’s severe weather in metro Atlanta.

An EF-1 tornado hit Coweta County with maximum winds of 90 miles per hour.

The weather service also says two EF-0 tornadoes touched down in Carroll County with max winds of 75 mph and 85 mph, respectively.

On Tuesday, the National Weather Service reported of a few trees down and potential structural damage to outbuildings in the county.
