The name of the teenager shot and killed last week on Westchester Circle in Athens has been released: Keshawn Gainer was 15 years old. He was shot multiple times with what appears to have been a handgun. There is no word yet from Athens-Clarke County Police investigators on suspects or motive for the deadly shooting.

The Gainer shooting is the second since November 25 in Athens, when a 32 year-old man was shot and killed on Garnett Ridge Road. That fatal shootign is also under investigation.

A Hart County man is arrested on child sex charges: 57 year-old Loyd Lewis, who is also the focus of a drug investigation, is in the Hart County jail.
