DEKALB COUNTY, GA — A high school student suffered minor injuries after being shot while waiting for a school bus in DeKalb County Tuesday morning.

Police say the shooting happened just before 8 a.m. near Stone Mill Drive and Juliette Road.

The DeKalb County School District says the girl attends Stone Mountain High School.

Officials say the shooting remains under investigation.

The school district says appropriate disciplinary action will be taken.
