SOUTH FULTON, GA — The City of South Fulton is hosting a prescription drug take back day Thursday.

The event is aimed at safely removing unused and expired medications from homes across the community.

Residents can bring unwanted medications to Burdett Park through 1 p.m. for safe and proper disposal.

No questions will be asked and no appointments are necessary.

Health experts say the effort is meant to prevent misuse, accidental poisoning, and environmental contamination.
