DOUGLASVILLE, GA — Sam’s Club settles a disability lawsuit over an incident at the Douglasville location.

A worker was involved in an automobile accident and requested additional medical leave.

According to the complaint, Sam’s Club denied her request and fired her.

The store’s general manager told her Sam’s Club would not accommodate her injuries because they occurred outside of work.

The wholesaler agreed to pay $60K to settle the suit.
