Duluth police officers are investigating a crash that left one person in the hospital Friday.

According to authorities, a pedestrian was hit by a car on Pleasant Hill Road at Peachtree Industrial Blvd.

Officers said the pedestrian was taken to the hospital, where they are in critical condition.

It is unclear what led to the crash and if the driver will face charges.

The identity of the pedestrian is unknown.

Several lanes on Pleasant Hill Road are blocked as police continue their investigation.
